We have a bright future.

Instead of a stuffy professional biography, how about I make this real and share who I am with you. That okay? Great!

I grew up moving constantly. My dad was in the Air Force, and we moved as often as you’d expect. I didn’t go to the same school two years in a row until 7th grade, at Carl Stuart Middle School. After a career change for my dad, we were able to stay put, and Conway became home. I graduated from Conway in 2008, after years in the Conway High Marching Band and various academic and service organizations. I went on to UCA on an academic scholarship and a music scholarship. After two years in band at UCA, I was ready to go to work, so I let my music scholarship go and started my career in marketing while finishing my degree.

My career begun selling promotional items, but quickly expanded into marketing services. After 5 years of balancing both, the company I sold for graciously allowed me to start my own business, bringing it all under one roof. In the next 10 years, I built that company, purchased a tanning salon, and opened 2 more sunless tanning/skincare salons. We (my husband, Kevin) also own Align Counseling & Wellness downtown.
In 2022, I sold my salons and my marketing agency to move to teaching the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). EOS helped bring peace to what was a chaotic life. Now I spend my days helping other entrepreneurial leaders get what they want from their business using EOS’s tools.

Through my career, my passion has always been leadership. Leading people and helping unlock their potential is what gets me out of bed every morning. Because I know how much good leadership can make all the difference. I believe the rest of my career will be focused on learning how to lead better, and sharing that knowledge with others.

I’ve been heavily involved in our community for many years now. I’m a past board president of the Conway Public Schools Foundation, and current board member for the Arkansas Community Foundation Faulkner County Affiliate. I also currently serve on the board for the Arkansas PBS Foundation, and am the Vice Chair of the Planning Commission for Conway.
Education, animal rescue, and entrepreneurship are my passions. Any time a cause allows me to help people, I’m in.

I’m running for City Council because I am a beneficiary of the visionary leadership Conway has had in my 20+ years here. As much as we’ve grown, I know there’s still more work to do. I’d love to be a part of helping shape that future, making Conway a community we’re all happy to call home.
